Your session date is NOT secured (booked) until retainer fee is paid in full. If the retainer fee is not paid in full within 48 hours of the due date, the session is subject to cancellation and will require rescheduling.
Retainer fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Exceptions will only be at photographers discretion.
Electronic payments only, NO CASH payments (unless discussed ahead of time with photographer and at photographers descretion).
Payment must be made in full at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session. Failure to submit payment on time will result in cancellation of your session and forfeiture of the retainer fee.
In the event of a cancellation, retainer fees may be credited toward a future session and are valid through the end of the calendar year.
Each client is allowed one reschedule per session, and the photographer is also allowed one reschedule per session (except in cases of inclement weather). Excessive rescheduling may result in cancellation of the session, forfeiture of all paid fee's, and potential denial of future bookings.
Clients must provide the photographer with at least 72 hours’ notice (unless in case of emergencies) for any cancellation or reschedule. Failure to do so, unless approved at the photographer’s discretion, may result in a fee to book future sessions or denial of future bookings.
If a client arrives 15 minutes late or more, the photographer reserves the right to cancel the session. If the session is not canceled, clients should understand that the full scope of the purchased service may not be delivered.
In the event that the client is dissatisfied with the photographer’s choice of location, posing, composition, or any other aspect of the session, the client must communicate these concerns during the photoshoot. If the selected location is deemed unsuitable, the session may be relocated on the same day or reschedule for a different date. Once the final gallery has been delivered, the client is not eligible for a refund or complimentary reshoot if concerns were not communicated during the session. Discounted reshoots may be offered at the photographer’s discretion. The photographer may also offer re-editing of images to address reasonable concerns. An additional travel may apply.
Expected Turnaround Times I am always working diligently behind the scenes to create beautiful images for y'all! Here is when you can expect your gallery:
- Mini Sessions: Up to 1 week (I always shoot for 5-7 days)
- Regular Sessions: Up to 2 weeks (I always shoot for 5-7 days)
- Elopements: 3-6 weeks
- Weddings: 3-12 weeks
Please note that during peak photography seasons, turnaround times may take a little longer. If that happens, I will communicate with you and keep you as updated as possible. Outside of the lens, I am a busy stay-at-home mom juggling family life, daily chores, and lots of beloved animals. I appreciate your grace and understanding that while my family keeps me on my toes, I care deeply about my clients and am working hard on your galleries. Do you Travel?
Yes! A travel fee will apply for any location over 30 miles. Travel fees will vary based on mileage. Travel fees do not apply if the location is photographers choice. Ask us about our rates.
How many photos do we get?
The amount of edits will depend on the package. For wedding packages you will receive a minimum of 100 edits.
How do we get our photos?
You will be emailed your full gallery through our website here on Pixieset.
What's your turn around time to receive photos?
Turnaround time for weddings and elopements is typically between 3–12 weeks. You’ll receive a selection of sneak peeks within 72 hours of your event. For all other packages, turnaround time is up to 2 weeks, with sneak peeks delivered within 72 hours.

What is a retainer fee?
A retainer fee is a NONREFUNDABLE fee paid upfront at the time of booking to lock in the time and date of your session. This fee is credited toward your total price of a package. I do allow retainer fee's to be credited toward another session for up to 1 year for canceled sessions.

How far out do you book?
I can book out as far you need me to. I do require non refundable retainer fees at the time of booking to hold your spot. Retainer fee price will vary based on the package.
Can I do payments plans?
Absolutely! After the retainer fee is paid you will have the option to pay the remaining balance until 24 hours before your scheduled session.
